KCI makes 30rd mags, but I've noticed they take a bit of persuasion to fit all the way in to the magwell, at least on my Plainfield...

The Koreans are supposed to be pretty good right now. I don't know if it matters which vendor (re any specific make). I assume most--if not all--o the new or recent prodution mags not claimed to be GIs are Koreans these days. Try http://www.keepshooting.com/m1-carbi...-magazine.html or www.cheaperthandirt.com.
Edit: I thought another web address fixed but apparently not. Last edited by gak; October 28, 2012 at 04:20 PM. |

One thing to know,if you are going to use 30 rd magazines,it is best to have an M-2 magazine catch. The M-1 catch only engages the 2 lugs on the back face of the mag.I have seen those lugs fail with an M-1 catch, ruining the mag.The M-2 catch has a tab on the starboard side that engages a third lug on the side of the magazine..
It will help safeguard your 30 rd mag investment |

I have had no problems with the mags made by Fulton Armory.
