Gun values section
I have an extensive collection I would like to get some more info and values on and if there is the knowledge out there I think we should have a place for it.

The best place to ask about a gun's particular value is in one of the forums that we already have.
For shotguns, we have a shotgun forum where quite a few very knowledgable people hang out. Ditto for rifles, handguns, and blackpowder firearms. There's really no need for a specific valuation forum when we have all of the others, but thank you for the suggestion, and welcome to TFL.

It would be interesting if someone built a site that consolidated data off of the major auction sites into a database. A lot of work. I can hardly imagine trying to deal with all the different ways people list guns, but if it were done well I think it would pull in a lot of traffic and garner decent ad income.
