Scope mounts, new savage

I have a Savage .223 on the way from Bud's.

The scope that I plan to mount on is a Shepard 3-10 that is coming off anouther rifle.

Do I want a one piece mount, rail, or the traditional two piece scope mounts?

What are the pros and cons?

Thanks

There are dozens of ways you could go.
Choice might depend on what model Savage it is and how you plan to use it.

EGW one piece mount.
Leupold QRW rings.
You can remove and replace the scope and it returns to zero.
