8" Smith Shooter
Ok, so I can't stop buying S&W's, but I DID need a centerfire to shoot silhouette matches in the Open Sights class.
I think this one should be able to reach out to 50 yds. I mean, that's a good excuse isn't it? Should be in my hands within a week. Help me with the year, 1972? Here are the first pics I've seen of it! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

And, yes, it's a trigger shoe. Might even leave on the shoe and see how it match shoots. Can't wait to get it to the range and put a little smoke on its cheeks!
