If they were hit with the M-16 bullets I've been reading about,(thanks for the links jimro), they shouldn't be alive!

I'm not done researching this, but the wealth of info jimro linked to is overwhelming. Not saying I'm completely convinced, but I'm sure a lot smarter than where I was before reading all that.

I won't do that shooting test unless somebody expresses interest in it. It involves a LOT more than simply setting the media tubes in front of a rifle. They are re-useable, but the process of melting the wax and re-casting the media in new tubes takes a lot of time.
