ARGH was about to order but I'm nervous the SP-01 will feel more like the 75B which I didnt like than the P-01 which i did like (loved). klajflkajfklaf

The SP01 feels completely different than the 75 IMO. It's more ergonomical and not as fat feeling. Changing the grips changes the feel as well.

Again, if you liked the P-01, you'll like the SP-01. Three of the same letters and numbers in the model number should tell you something.

What's neat about CZ is that they upgraded the design of their all steel, and steel/alloy framed pistols as well. They also offer the excellent polymer framed Phantom and P-07, but they have not abandoned steel or alloy for only newer polymer designs.
Be thankfull the SP-01, and P-01 are still essentially CZ-75's with some upgrades. The 75 is a great design.

So if the P01 felt perfect, why bother with the heavier/bigger SP01?

Pilot, i really appreciate you putting up with my posts lol. I think im just going to order the SP-01 and hope its not like the 75B (and its like the P-1) or that the rubber grips make a huge difference and be done with it! |

No worries mate. Nothing to put up with. You will love it, and I will probably pick one up in the not too distant future, as I really enjoy shooting my friend's. As many others say, CZ's multiply.
