Gunsmith, near Huntsville Texas?

I have never taken a gun to a gunsmith except many years ago to have a recoil pad put on. Many, many years ago. I have a question.

I need the barrel on a Ruger BlackHawk (45 Colt) cut off. It's 7.5" long now and I want it cut off to 6.5". Where would a good gunsmith be found close to Huntsville Texas? About what would a job like that cost? Would it be more cost effective to replace the existing barrel with a shorter one?

Cut and crown, reset front sight, probably $200.
An expensive inch.

I know of no 6.5" Ruger .45 barrel and turning, threading, fitting, and finishing one from a blank would be even more expensive.
