First shots - XD45
Finally got out my 5 inch XD45. IMHO:
- Nice HD weapon - Gotta like the 13 rd mag - I like the 1911 grip safety & the trigger safety - Smooth feeding - No doubt lighter than a steel 1911 - Snap to clean. For "target" shootin I'm going to explore a good price for one of those 8 shot 357 wheel guns. Jimbo

I was just thinking of one of these.
How are the fiber optic sites and the open port of the barrel? Looks like a nice gun. |

you're thinking of the XDM 5.25
the XD45 5 inch is a totally separate model.
