Glock 20 Price Check

Hey guys, I can get a G20, NIB, from my favorite LGS, for $550.

Is that a decent/good price?

And, no, I'm not joining the Glock whatever club to get their coupons.

That sounds about right to me. Most new Glocks in my LGS are about that or a little more.

About average for the 10mm.

Now if I wanted to go that route, I'd get a 21sf and get the aftermarket 10mm barrel, mag and various conversion bits. Two guns in one.

I actually have a G21, full size frame, but....

Have considered getting the 10mm barrel, but I've also researched this a bit more and as far as I can tell the G20 was specifically built around the 10mm cartridge, and the G21 was not/is not.

Thoughts?

I'm pretty sure the Glock 21 is just a Glock 20 in 45 ACP. I remember reading an article talking about the Glock 21 being good for a 45 Super conversion because of this. I'm not a big Glock guy though so I could be misinformed.

The 'c' means it has a ported or 'compensated' barrel. IIRC.

I've not found any evidence, yet, that the Glock 20 Gen4 is available in the USA.

Anyone else?

Yes, one of the forum members here posted a review of the G20 Gen 4 on youtube.

Regarding the coversion barrel discussion, the G20 has a heavier slide than a G21. The G20 can be converted to .40 S&W with a barrel and usually a lighter spring (KKM barrel is my choice, tried Lone Wolf with negative results), which means cheap practice ammo and for us reloaders means buying the same 180 grain bullets and loading them in both cases.

OK, great, thanks. I wonder why Glock does not have it listed on their web site?
