S&W 617 w/ Fiber Optic sight
Had a red fiber optic front sight installed on my S&W 617. The sight is held on with a very small, proprietary roll pin. The new sight needs to be drilled very carefully to accommodate the pin. Definitely not something I could do myself, and my usual guy couldn't do it either. However, I managed to find a gunsmith who did a great job. The only improvement needed on what I find to be the perfect all-around .22 handgun.

nah... fiber optic front is all you need. to many fibers make it difficult to focus IMO.

Could. That would be a much easier install at least. With different colors in the rear it would be pretty nice. I hadn't really thought about that...
The front sight was definitely the more urgent one though.

I put FO sights on 4-5 of my revolvers... I used Williams FO Ghost rings in the rear... ( rears use green FO ) fronts use red or orange... my new Ruger Single 10, came with green / red FO sights from the factory...
I like the set up alot...
