I always lurk in these threads for bac to show up. Never a letdown.
I have to say, when it comes to 1911s, I'm all about the rollmark. A classy one is breathtaking, a bad one can ruin the gun. I particularly love Wilsons and Ed Browns. Not only are they great 1911s, but the rollmarks are so well done that the entire package just looks so..,competent. |

Its not just 1911s though. I actually own many more non-1911 automatics than I do 1911s. The 1911 is my favorite platform though. Here is a pic of them all together.

bac1023 - i'm free for adoption?!
wow! thanks! wow! thanks! ![]() seriously though, it's amazing how little the platform has changed over the years (when so many others have gone through so many iterations). a true testament to how true/functional/perfect the 1911 really is. it's a treat to see such a nice collection. thanks for sharing/showing off (i mean that in the best way, believe me)! |

bac1023, That Infinity 1911 is ultra cool looking! I bet that one cost a pretty penny for sure. Awesome 1911 collection you have there. Keep up the good work.

I think it was $3700, but that was nearly 5 years ago. Today, I'm sure it would be over $4K. |
