Ruger SR 22 question

Looking to buy a 22 auto to teach my grandsons with, would like
to get feedback from those of you have one or have shot one.
The boys both have 10/22 rifles so they know how to shoot,
just would like to train them on semi autos
thanks
b

I have one very reliable, easy to shoot, lots of fun. I have ove 6000 rounds of various types and brands of ammo only had two hiccups and I believe it was the shooter(my wife) she was limp wristing and had two jams. Buy extra magazines, shoot and shoot some more and have fun! Buy plenty of ammo its a hungry lil pistol!

The SR22 is perfect to teach your grandsons. It is reliable, accurate and fun to shoot. You will be a happy Ruger customer.

Definitely love mine. My lady was afraid to shoot my cheapo Hi Point C9.. bought her the SR22, and she can't stop talking about when our next range visit will be!

Great little pistol. It is not a target pistol but it is great for plinking or walks in the woods.

My kids 8 and 10 love shooting the SR. Nice and small and light perfect for them to learn on.

Great little gun and fairly accurate to boot. I did have to send mine back to Ruger for a take down lever replacement (after 3500 rounds) because of an early run of some poorly processed parts but had it back in just over a week and its back to it's old self now, actually a little better. Not just a nice gun for the young ones but a good gun for anyone.
