Media Additive
What do you put in your tumbling media? I'm still using crushed walnut hulls and was adding Flitz. I just ran out of Flitz after years of use. Anything better on the market now?

I use NuFinish that I put in corn cob media. I've been very happy with it.

another vote for nufunish. 50/50 mix of walnut and corncob, a capful of nufinish and some scraps of dryer fabric.

I use and recommend Dillon Rapid Polish.
I use and recommend it because it makes shiny cases that seem to have a protective barrier on them, enough so that cleaned cases can sit for YEARS without signs of it.

Only been at this for about a month or so, but I've cleaned about 5 thousand cases so far and have had great success using corn cob media and a cap full of Nu Finish.
I will be trying a 50/50 mix of corn cob and walnut as well, just to see how much of a different it makes. I also tossed in a couple scrap pieces of dryer sheet last night as well, to see how that works out. |
