I use these 1-3/4 shells exclusively for home defense in my winchester 1200.

The problem with using these short shells in most pumps is that the feed latches in the mag tube aren't spaced properly for them to feed right; the guns are designed for use with 2 3/4" or longer shells, so they end up allowing 1 1/2 of the short shells out onto the lifter, which ties everything up when you try to pump the forearm forward again. Mexico's Aguila also produces these, but with the same results.
