Idea for 45ACP pistol

Hi all,

I am looking for a CA approved pistol that takes 45ACP. I don't have big hands, so I prefer something with compact size. Not full size. Not sub-compact. Any idea?

Are there any Colt Combat Commanders on the CA approved list?

And the link where I can check the approved roster is dead since today. I probably need to wait for those IT folks to work on their server on Monday.

You could walk into a gun shop and ask(I swear, I'm not trying to be a dick but it's just coming out that way). That is, if you're lucky enough to live near one in this state.
Some websites that sell guns and manufacturers sites are putting what guns are legal in CA. If you have a gun in mind, check the companies website, it may be the only way you'll know until they fix that stupid list site.

Drop by a gunstore or gun show and look at what is available.

M&P45c? With the disconnect model it's CA legal, isn't it?

What is the criteria for a CA approved gun?
the Sig P220 only holds 6 rounds in the mag....has a decocker safety...

Wait, never mind, I just remembered Fascistchusetts has an "approved" list too, and the criteria is.....so muddled and nonsensical that nobody can explain it...

How do citizens of these Commonwealths and Republics allow such nonsense to prevail?

Sorry for the hijack....I get fired up when questions about these Fascist states are posted!
