Advantage Arms Conversion Kit or Mech Tech Carbine?

So, money is tight and the wife and I are having to save for everything. I'd love to purchase both of these items, but I unfortunately cannot. This would be for a Glock 19.

AACK = Super cheap ammunition, even enough to stock pile some. Able to train more.

MechTech = ability to have a pretty sweet carbine-ish rifle. (have always wanted an AR).

I'm being pulled in each direction. Just looking for some opinions.

Thanks guys!

the advantage arms would be cheaper in the long run and would allow you to eventually save up a bit for the other.

personally I am more of a fan of the RONI carbine conversions over the mechtechs since they are hot swapable back and forth.

Another vote for the AA. The MT doesn't reduce your ammunition costs one bit... which as we all know, over the long haul, are the true and continuing costs.
Besides... having a ".22 Glock trainer" will afford lots of practice with the gun you probably use to defend yourself and your family.
