Question on a Original Golden 39A
I sure could use some help in finding out some information on a Marlin Model Original Golden 39A serial # 22274XXX. I'd like to buy some parts for it but I'm not sure if it's considered like the Old Model or if I'd need to look under a different listing. The Numrich parts book just isn't real clear to me. Any help would be appreciated.

AFAIK, the cutoff between old/new Model 39a's was in the late 60's.
Your rifle's SN puts it into 1978. . |

You can always call Marlin and ask to be sure.
