Weaver ring height for TC Omega

I have an old 1.75X5 Redfield Widefield I'd like to mount on a TC Omega.

Any suggestions about Weaver ring height to clear/cock the hammer? The objective is only about 1.25" so that end should not be a problem.

I already have the Weaver base and don't have much time until ML season starts so need something I can buy locally. Thanks.

Being the Omega has a small profile hammer. I would think High rings would work well for your application or you could call Thompson Center and ask for their advice 1-603-332-2333. It's an older number I have given you but it may still work. Otherwise Anywho.com probably has a current listing. T/Cs zip is 03866 there location is Rochester, New Hampshire. Good luck in your up and coming M/L Season also.
