old shotgun reloading stuff

my neighbor gave me these the other day. some old shotgun reloading stuff. i thought it was pretty cool. thought you might too. and hoping someone might give me some historical info on them. the bag says "Lawrence shot and lead co, Omaha, American _____________(can't make it out), drip shot". the hull that is dated 1901 feels like rubber, i'm guessing it's paper, and the other hull is brass. i'm guessing they were cut to be used a measure. any info would be appreciated.

Neat collector stuff.
But -
Who says the Good Old Days were better?
Talk about doing it the hard way.
