Ted Williams Model 100 and Unknown Marlin.

My fiance's dad has two rifles I'm intersted in purchasing.

One is a 'Ted Williams Model 100' from Sears and Roebuck.

It is a 30-30, it isvery similar to a Winchester 94 and is missing the rear sight and I would say it is around 75% condition.

The other is a Marlin, not sure on the model, but it is a bolt action .22LR with a tubular magazine and wood stock. It's fairly old some marks on the stock. I'd say around 70% condition.

What Model is the Marlin? And what would be the value of these combined?

The Sears 100 is a New Model 94. Cheaper wood, less finishing, should be same internals.

So a Win 94 rear sight would work just fine?

99% sure that would be a 'yes', although there is the ever so slightest chance Sears, Monkey Wards, or who ever was the retailer for that rifle may have requested something a little different every now and then on orders.

I'm going to use the words "clip" and "Long Colt" every chance I get. It grinds my gears to see new members attacked when we all know dang good and well what's being refered to.
