My new, cheap, low profile takedown carbine case
I spotted this 24" tripod case in the camera store. It was only $24, seems well made and I knew it could be useful for carrying other things as well as my tripod.
![]() Here it is loaded up, looking like any old camera accessory bag. ![]() But is it? ![]() ![]() ![]() Plus the pocket in front will fit my 25 round cartridge belt or even a a couple of 50 round boxes of .357 magnum JSPs. |

I like the bags for those folding lawn chairs that last a couple of years. The chair breaks way, way before the carry bag for it usually. Heck most of them come with a shoulder strap even! If I want a bit of extra padding I use one of those closed cell foam mats sold at the "Mart Brothers" for yoga.
