Serial numbered lower 51 always shoots more accurate than
number 49 because it takes the first 50 to get the machinery set up properly....

But wasn't the serial number for the lower you were sent home with the one that was put on the 4473 form? Or was the form pre-prepared or prepared while someone was not in the actual presence of the lower receiver?
EDIT: Sorry, only now noticed you are in Illinois- may be all sorts of requirements there that I am not aware of.

ya when i got home i noticed that the serial number on my lower was 51, well i remembered i paid for 49 an the name on the reciept was not mine lol. the lower i brought home wasn't the lower that was in my name. it was a common mix up to me cause the way the reciept was sticking out the guys name an mine was the same. so i went back an got mine. an for illinois you go buy a rifle an fill out the ATF form an its a 1 day wait or "cool down" period before you can take the rifle or shotgun home. handguns are a 3 day wait. but other then that nothin really special we just can't conceal an carry.

Very sloppy shop you've got there. Normally you have a couple guys doublechecking everything so this kind of thing doesn't happen.
I would think Stag has made more than 51 lowers too!
