Looking for a tripod or spotting scope stand
I am looking for a tripod or scope stand for a Pentax 80 ED. I will not always be using it on level ground or on a bench, so I would like a stand up model. I have been looking at a few and I am looking for opinions or suggestions.
Ray Vin with (2) 20" extentions. Manfrotto 055XDB with 128RC head @ opticsplanet. Manfrotto carbon fiber 190CXV3 with 700RC2 head. If you have a model that you like please give me all the details with model numbers for ordering it and where to buy it. Thanks, |

Many options
A friend of mine, bought a surveyor's Tri-pod at Home Depot. It's big, sturdy and not too heavy or expensive. ...

I haven't taken the plunge yet myself, but here is the route I'm taking when some of my current projects run their course... http://www.champchoice.com/cat-Scope_Stands-604.aspx
