Just Picked Up My $729 Colt AR
So here's how it all happened...
2 years ago PSA was having an insane sale on M&P rifles (back when they were relatively untested) and I picked up a PSX for $720 OTD then sent in my 100 rebate offer so I had $620 in the rifle: ![]() Well I sold that rifle last week for $1050 ![]() Then bought this Colt annodized FDE Magpul 6920 for $1159 OTD ![]() ![]() ![]() I'll post a range report and review once I get a few hundred rounds through it but I just wanted to show off the new toy

Great looking AR, both the Smith and Colt. I just bought a M&P 15 Sport for $650 at my local Academy, and it's the best AR I have ever shot. It doesn't have a dust cover, or foward assist, but that doesn't do a thing to accuracy or how the gun functions. Plus I never had to use them anyway so it doesn't bother me. In this modern day, most of the time you pay for cheap stuff, you get s***, thats definately not the case with the M&P 15 Sport. My next AR purchase is the Colt SP6920. But congrats on your purchase, thats a very nice AR.

Nice rifle. I dig the FDE look.
Are all 6920s marked "M4 Carbine" now? That's the first I've ever seen of that. |

That's my understanding as well. Some still have the LE serial numbers which mine has (bought from a LE/MIL dealer, not sure if that's why or not...?).
