Just kidding. Things like that are forever showing up in my photos and I get some of the weirdest email about background items. Those bullets look good and I'll bet that you'll have another casting session soon.

HEHE--and I'm not sure marshmellows are a good substitute for dacron, but with a maple syrup lube the smell of firing ought to make everyone at the range hungry. Look out IHOP, hungry shooters incoming!

Those look pretty darn "shootable" to me.

Hey Steve,

Those would be from a Lee C452-300gr RF 6 cavity mold. I got started pouring them to feed the appetite of my Raging Bull. It got to the point it was simply not economical for me to purchase commercial poured.

They are poured with straight WW alloy and average about 12.5-13 BHN on my Cabine Tree tester. I have played with a couple of different lubes, but have found that tumble lubing with the 45/45/10 or Recluse mix has done all I needed up to 1700fps with them. I don't usually shoot them that fast with 1550fps being the normal load, but I ran them up there just to see how they shot. Little to no leading and good groups, but painful to run more than 40-50 through in a sitting.

I have started to play with dropping the load down a bit more into the 1350'ish range, but haven't settled on anything just yet. I do know for a fact that at 1550, they work well on hogs and deer.

Here's some of my soldiers assembling for combat and ready for whatever.

.401 lee 175 TC loaded in 40 S&W for my glock M-22 OEM barrel. They shoot clean and accurate.

Snuffy, I've got a couple battalions of soldiers that look exactly like those. Guess we get our uniforms from the same place.

Most of my soldiers lately are considerably "taller" and a little on the skinny side. Unfortunately, they're a little camera-shy at the moment.

I too have a bunch as well, I even have a few over weight ones wearing gas checks. They march slow but when they get there they put a whopping on what ever they hit.

Those look real good guys. Now I have my pot going to cast up some 358-158 TLSWC. I shot the last of my stock on Sun. Now I have to sweat it out, and pour up some more. Though my shooting time this weekend will be sparse. (Taking Mrs. M&P to the flea market in Canton Tx on Sat., and working till 2 on Sun. Though I will be going to the range on Sun. after work.

Looking good! After I get done working on the truck, I'll get started on some more light infantry myself. .358" 105 grain semi wadcutters seem to be the ticket for my plinkertoys. I need to add some heavy artillery though. My FNP45 has been wanting some 255 grain mortars to lob out there.

Too many molds and not enough money.
