.40 Near Perfect
Here is my cast .40. Actually .401, I cast this the other day in a LEE 2 cavity mold #401-175-TC. They are cast from Lyman#2 (I mix it myself) and fall at about 170 grains.
This is the best looking bullet I have ever cast. I had to take a moment to brag .I have several oter LEE molds, and so far I have been pleased. The trick with aluminum, from what I've seen is getting them to the right temperature. Once they get good and warm, things seem to go well.

Look'n good! Now you gotta go see if they shoot as good as they look!

I have that same mould. Mine shoot great. I lube with LLA and don't even size the bullets. I push them with AA#7 using a load from the Accurate powder website.
