Gunsmith Cats made me pick up a CZ-75 the first time I saw one.

The fact the gun felt like it was molded for my hand made me buy one once I was old enough.

How do some photos get reversed when posted and some do not? I've never figgered that one out. Of course I'm probably one of the least computer proficient guy here, but still I get curious. The left handed M-14 made me look twice.
Photo (or maybe even the movie 'still' it was taken from) was flopped before it was posted. The forum just shows an image that's hosted someplace else; it only shows what it's directed to show.

The '03 that actor Barry Pepper is shooting in the photo below that one shows a left-handed character shooting a right-handed rifle lefty, interestingly enough. The '03 he's firing is interesting too. His character used at least two different '03 sniper rifles in the film. The one pictured is a prop-master's concoction, I believe. Looks good though

I have a Glock 20 because Sonny Crockett had a Bren 10.

Stargate the series, FN P90...

I saw 1903 posted earlier, I had a Smith Corona 03A3 and sold it 20 years ago for $200... It did have a cracked stock.

"The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" makes me want a 1851 navy conversion so bad I can taste it. Though the movie "The Punisher" was just ok, the two colt 1911s were really neat and I would love to have a pair. "No Country For Old Men" makes me want a shotgun with a silencer.

According to the 'You might be a mall ninja' thread, anyone who wants a gun they saw in a movie is a mall ninja... Just sayin

That being said, every time I watch Black Hawk Down, I want an 11.5 in AR with suppressor.... I guess I am a mall ninja. ....sighhhhh...

Absolutely. I grew up watching Clint Eastwood Westerns on Saturday mornings so Single Actions and Lever Actions are what I wanted, and comprise most of what I own today. My first new gun was a Winchester 9422M for my 9th or 10th Bday?

Last Man Standing made me buy a bunch of extra Mags for the Colt 45.

I purchased two, both henries. My AR-7 and my Mares leg are 100% as a result of movies and television. 5 year old BitterTait swore he would own one of those, and Adult BitterTait fulfilled that promise. Now all I need is a Rocket Car and and a pet Dinosaur and I'll have everything I wanted in kindergarden.

My love of Westerns made me want my first gun to be a lever-action.

Oh, yes. As a youngster I swore I was gonna get myself an M1928 A-1 Tommy gun, After I saw Nick Nolte use one in the late '80s movie "Farewell to the King". That never happened. A more realistic movie gun goal is a Mauser broomhandle C-96. It took a few years to realize That was the gun used by Harrison Ford and Clint Eastwood in their best movies (IMHO).

Die Hard made me want an AUG. Got one, don't shoot it much, may sell it. It's not a bad rifle, just a slightly goofy purchase. I would enjoy an A1-style AR more, probably. Plenty of 80s action-movie awesomeness, in a platform I already enjoy.

Miller's Crossing made me want a Webley Mk-VI. Opportunity and funds have yet to cross paths... So far.

I can't recall for the life of me what movie I saw this in with the countless documentaries I've seen over the years...but, a Sturmgewehr 44, aka STG 44. Would be pretty cool to have the first real assault rifle in history. I've always been a fan of German weaponry, I'm as American as can be though. I could never own "Hitlers buzz saw" because of the devastation it caused on D-day, just makes me sad honestly.

An MP-40 would be kinda slick too, hell...even a real Grease gun would be fun

No, not really.

I guess all the movie portrayals together might influence my desire to have Thompson SMG, but it could also just be an awesome flame thrower of a gun.

All the old James Bond movies made me want to buy a Walther PPK. I never did but bought a Bersa Thunder .380, a PPK wannabe.

After watching "Point Break" for the 11th million time I'd still like a stainless steel Charter Arms Undercover to go with my SIG P-226.

2003 Monte Walsh

The 1887 Winchester lever action shotgun carried by Shorty caught my attention. So I bought a reproduction at a gun show a while back. 12 guage lever action is a blast to shoot. And what a quail gun! I actually recieved a few smirks and laughs at it's first Quail hunt, that is untill I bagged out before the other guys did. Quick swing and levels off easy. Quail are fast birds, but this shotgun did just fine.

I think it was the little guy in the REAL old gangster movies with the squinty eyes that always said,"yea, seeeee."

Edit-the guys name was Edward G.Robinson-"yea.seeeeeee."

Thompson submachine gun with the round magazine.

I forget all the nicknames they had for them but they were all funny.

What a machine gun.

Never-ever equaled in just movie badaxxed-ness.
