I have the Lyman #49, Lyman Cast bullet handbook, Lee Modern 2nd Ed, Speer 14, all the powder manufacturer free booklets, and Gun Guides pistol loads.
The Lyman #49 was a disappointment, especially as every forum touts it as the should-be-standard on every load bench, I found it to be seriously lacking.

It told me that many forumgoers are full of it(Even the ones that are supposedly wise old reloaders) and to do the research myself.

If you think Lyman49 is thin on 357 data (it is), wait'll you check out the 41Mag section

And it's been explained at least once in this thread why it is recommended to reloading n006$...
