Box of truth, rifled barrels, and buck shot

This has been brought up several times here and no one, myself included, ever put together and published a decent test to confirm. The rifled choke does seem to expand the pattern significantly.

As I read that test shot it is with a rifled barrel and not a rifled choke.

TKM, my friend, some learn by the experiences of others, and some don't. We've heard, ad nauseum, recommendations that rifled shotgun barrels are intended specifically for sabot-type slugs. Yet, there are still folks who want to try something else.

Careful now, Zippy. We all know, including myself, how hard it is to pound something into my thick scull. Had I only broken down and taken a few lessons when I began, as you suggeted.

I'm guilty, too. I spent many years practicing the same mistakes before I saw a faint glimmer of light. Perhaps we do acquire a pinch of wisdom as our beards turn to white.

Only money contributed to the NRA-ILA or NRA-PVF. Of course, you could just donate to the Second Amendment Foundation I was feeling pretty good, then I looked around and realized I am not swimming or on fire.
