Permanent attachment of compensator??

I need to permantently attach a compensator. Will an Arc Weld be sufficient?

an arc weld would do it.

blind pinning and hard silver solder is permanant enough.

wouldn't the arc weld kinda compromise the finish?

I don't know if the arc weld would be bad for finish. Hmm?!
