Adding a weapon light

I'm considering adding a compact, lightweight weapon light to my Benelli
M1S90... the one SureFire makes for this shotgun is too big and heavy.

I am also interested in a proven method to mount a Micro T-1 on this gun.
Can a mini rail be installed on top of the receiver?

Not sure about the rail idea, my 870 has one I found, but I use this for light alongside my shotgun, works great.
