Will be toying with seating depth on my .223 load for yotes. Trying to reduce the groups to under a half inch, they were .725 last time. Wish me luck!

Wow, lots of new loaders! Welcome to the affliction! Been under the weather lately so sticking my head thru the door of my loading room is probably all I'll manage. Thanks for the vicarious pleasure, especially the new reloaders.

I just put the finishing touches on some more test loads for the Mark X .243 win. I'm using a 100 Grn Sierra Gameking, with 47.4 grains of Supreme 780, it shoots about 9 tenths of an inch at 100 yds (4 rounds), so now I'm adjusting COAL and testing that.

Just got done loading a work up of 9mm for my Walther. Win 115gr FMJ over Titegroup ranging from 3.7-4.2.
Tried the Unique an it seemed to have a lot of "push" to it with a lot of recoil. I'm looking for a quick pop with some accuracy. Hoping the Titegroup will work. About to on the way to the range.

Just loaded up some test rounds of 55gr Midway Dogtowns with H4895 and H335 for my Varmint AR. These have been making nice little holes at 100 yrds but down range ballistics don't come close to the 53gr V-Max that I've been using, but something to play with at the range. I also just ordered some 55gr Z-Max to test.

Been working on a load of 9mm to replace that burned by a nice, solid range day one week ago. I sent 500 rounds of 9 in to steel plates last week... 290 from a Taurus PT-99AF, 200 from my Norinco T213 and 10 rounds through a buddy's Kahr CW-9.
On Monday, I began replenishing that supply and when the dust settled this evening, I had 1,100 rounds of it loaded. Satisfied with that, I quickly turned out 300 rounds of .38 Super. I think I'm going to roll a little .45 Colt. Why not? The evening is young!

Loaded up some fodder for the new .50 Beowulf today. 34.5gr Lil' Gun behind 350gr Berry's. Hoping to touch them off sometime in the next few days:
![]() Oh, and I had a little helper My 3 year old seated her first bullet today. She helps me sort brass all the time. I had to help a little to get the bullet fully seated:

Finished off a box of Berry's 9mm 124grain HBFP over 3.9-4.0 grains of N320 at 1.100". I highly recommend as a light target load (1000fps out of a P89)
I am moving on to a new load tomorrow for my wife's 3" .357 SP101. 38cal 148grain Berry's HBWC. Her favorite load by far is lead 148gr HBWC seated flush over 3grains of HP38 (720fps). Any recommendations? I am looking to recreate the feel and performance of that load, but cleaner (obviously). I have N320 and HP38 on hand. I am hoping the 3grains of hp38 will work well so I can use the same setup but we will see. |

Latest loads are 40 6mmBR for my benchrest rifle. 30 grains of Varget, CCI BR primers, Lapua brass, and Berger 80 grain bullets.
It's early in the benchrest game for me, but it shot sub-MOA first time out, and a couple of rounds were touching at 100 yards. A work in progress, but most of it due to me not shooting much in the last several years. I think this load is a winner, I just need to shoot more. My shooting buddy outshot me with my own rifle. He had two rounds touching with the same loads at 100 yards. The rifle and the load look to be keepers.

I've been playing around with some 2400 for my .357
I'm not sure which is more fun, reloading or shooting up ammo to have something to reload. Other than that, just cleaning lots of brass. |

Another AA #5: .45 Colt/250 Oregon Trail RNFP/10.6 grains AA #5. It's my "field" load, just under 1,000 fps from a 6 1/2" Blackhawk. Loaded another 50 this evening.
