Did Marlin make Model 28 riot guns?
I am assuming that whatever police department used this had them made from Model 28 A grade's.
17 on the pistol grip, rack #? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm thinking with the low serial number 1913-1915?

I take it that there are no makings of any kind on the barrel. Being the question asked.

Still awaiting delivery, but I am told that the bottom of the barrel is marked: "C" for open cylinder.
I am assuming that this would mean that the barrel was not cut after factory.
