What is the velocity of standard .22 factory ammo? Need to know?

The big manufacturers, Winchester, Federal, Remington, and possibly some of the smaller ones, have ballistics information on their websites.

I'm thinking, though, that for normal .22 LR, it's about 1200 fps.
