Which belt and holster for Uberti Colt 1873?
Hello out there
I have an Uberti Colt Cattleman 1873 5 1/2 barrel and I would like to buy a western leather rig for this gun. I have these criterias: - Must look authentic like in the 1880's - Must be able to use in Cowboy action shooting - Must have the option to add an extra right hand crossdraw holster on the left side (I am right handed) - Must be kind of a quick draw holster. And last but not least: must not be to expensive.. Is this possible? ![]() Regards from Norway.

i bought my holster for my uberties from sportsmans guide. i got a right, left and a right hand cross draw from them as a set. it works for me but i am not a cowboy action shooter. the CAS crowd has info on lots of high dollar custom holster makers if that is what your looking for. i've had my "cheap" rig for about 5 years and i like it, it works for me. it is decent leather for my purpose and looks good to me.

Try El Paso Saddlery but fast draw low slung(buscadero) holsters didn't exist in the 1880's. That's a Hollyweird invention.

The rigs carried by Cabelas would fit your criteria; although I wouldn't recommend the Oklahoma brand stuff.

I went nuts looking for a holster for my Uberti and somebody turned me onto Western and Wildlife Wonders. Great holsters, belts and excellent prices.
