Request for FNP info
Gang,
My FN experience is limited to my Browning Hi Power and my Five-seveN. A local shop has FNPs new in 9MM or 40 S&W for $450.00 out the door with five magazines. I can buy one on GB for $419.00 with five mags and pay the $15.00 transfer at my dealer. The deal sounds pretty good. I have about seventy pistols, but I don't know anything about the FNP. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. Iron Man |

Generally good reputation for the FNP line. They were replaced with the FNX line. The 5 mags are they 2 higher caps and 3 low caps or are they all the same capacity?

I have the FNP9 and can say that it is a superb weapon and has functioned flawlessly through countless rounds I also like the fact that the spring is retained on the guide rod and the slide release stays in the frame when field stripping so you end up with the slide, barrel, spring/guiderod assembly and frame. No small parts to lose or flying springs if you would some how have a failure and have to strip your weapon under pressure or in the dark.
FWW FN makes true combat tactical weapons and they are well thought out.
