Original 1897 stock search
My first shotgun was given to me by my Grandpa about 28 yrs ago. I hunted with it for about 3 yrs, then bought my first new shotgun. The gun has rarely been shot since.
Grandpa was 5ft 8. As a result, Grandpa had to cut the stock on the pump gun. I am 6ft 4, with very long arms. I would like to find an original stock for the 1897. I just want to restore it. Question is: Does anyone recommend a place to buy a stock for Grandpa's gun?

Try Boyds gun stocks they have replacement stocks for the 97, about $60 for a finished butt stock.
