savage model 73

hello all!

i recently stopped by local pawn shop and saw something kinda interesting. i found a Savage model 73 bolt action 22 for 80 dollars. first off, I've been looking for a cheap bolt action 22 for training purposes and this seems to fit the bill. i know that it was a boys rifle back in the 70s/80s but beyond that i know nothing.

is this a good price?(i think it is but you never know) and is there anything you guys/gals can tell me about it?

thanks a bunch
