EAA Sabbatti?
Wandering around the Dallas gunshow today I ran across one of these, used marked at $300. Fit and finish was much improved over any cheap O/U I've seen. I knew that EAA was in bed with some soviet SG's but this was the first Italian I had seen. Anyone know how they stack up against the other cheapo doubles?

Sabatti like many manufactures has made guns to a price point for a number of importers over the years. I have not taken one apart imported by EAA but have looked at a few others imported in the 60's and 70‘s by other firms and are not a bad firearm considering the price.
I have a 20 ga Sabatti made in the 70‘s that I have put maybe a 1000 rds through and no trouble. It’s my O/U for hunting in rotten weather or brush where I do not mind if it get’s beat up. Actualy has very nice wood on it compaired to most inexpensive O/U's you find today. In my area the EAA’s go for $300-$375 |
