Has anyone seen-handled-fired an Alfa Proj .22 revolver?

www.czechpoint-usa.com/products/revolvers

I've never seen the website before today,,,
Someone in another forum posted this website link.

The Alfa Proj 4" revolver appears to be about the same size as a K-frame S&W,,,
A new Model 18 with a 4" barrel is 9.25 inches long at 37.6 ounces,,,
The 4" Alfa Proj with a 4" barre; is 9.0 inches long at 33 ounces.

I would love to get my hands on one for a test drive.

I sent them an email a few years ago. When I stumbled across their site. I wanted one of these

http://www.alfa-proj.cz/viewpic.php?...ig.jpg&model=-

To my surprise I left my contact info in the email and they called me the following day to personally answer my question! I was wowed. The gentleman explained that they currently do not have a way to import to the US and there are no plans to in the near future. He was very polite and well spoken, more so then most people that live here. they have some very cool all steel guns. Its tragic we can't get any.

It would appear that they are available here:

From their site at http://www.czechpoint-usa.com/produc...zechpoint-241/

"The .22lr revolver is manufactured by Alfa Proj, located in the historic firearms manufacturing city of Brno (Czech Republic). These revolvers are extremely popular in Europe and CzechPoint is proud to be their exclusive importer in the United States."

The price seems reasonable if they're a quality product. But... I'm a bit of a Smith & Wesson "snob".

They are very good quality revolvers

I have this model
http://www.alfa-proj.cz/en/products/...-22-wmr-22-lr/

It's the target model and comes with a grooved barrel for scope mounting.
its very accurate and it has very nice trigger out of the box. I have also handled some of the other models like the Alfa Steel and the Holek, all in 22lr, and they are all very well built and they have better internal and external finish than a Taurus. I would say the quality is at the same level as the CZ rifles.
they come also in other calibers like 357 mag/ 38 special but i have not shot does calibers

Regards

I'll let someone else try them first or wait on a S&W or Ruger 22 revolver. They look to me like a cheaply made copy of a Charter arms revolver.

Of course looks can be deceiving but I'll let someone else find that out.
