Polytech National Match AK

What would you guys pay for a polyech national match ak?

It does have the cone flash hider, but no box, papers or other stuff. A few mags come with it.

Hes has $2200 on it but I feel that is pretty high.

prices on chinese ak's, especially polytech's have gone nuts in the past couple of years. You may be able to find a better deal somewhere, but I've seen regular polytech legends on gunbroker bid up to that price level. Those were fore NIB examples so that National Match probably is on the high side of price. You may be able to find them on gunbroker.com or gunsamerica.com. You could always offer less...

I was thinking $1750, but I didn't want to kick him to hard so I just passed.

I want it, but I don't really need it.

Huh? Am I the only one who thought there was some sort of law of nature that forbade putting "AK" and "National Match" together?

Sorry, not flamin here- just thought it sounded odd. Maybe my opinions will change when me and my M1A or AR's get smoked by one in competition.

I'm going to use the words "clip" and "Long Colt" every chance I get. It grinds my gears to see new members attacked when we all know dang good and well what's being refered to.

Last time I checked models of firearms get all sorts of odd names.

Mossberg chainsaw. Horrible at cutting up trees.

CZ Skorpion. Doesn't look like any stinging arachnid I have ever seen.

Worst offender? The sterling submachine gun. Wasn't even silver plated!

I think those are the most understood words ever spoken here. Perfectly describes a great many shooters, collectors, and amassers the world over. Getting something fun, just because you want it is the spice of life- I say go for it. If not that one, then go after something else that looks equally fun.

I was looking at buy a collection.

Springfield SAR 48
Mitchell Arms M90 in 308
Polytech National Match
and an IMI galil

They were all very nice, but I don't think I could have made an offer that would have made both parties happy.

I didn't really need them.

Instead I got the Galil at a reasonable price, and I'm happy about that.
