Urban Fantasy Novel by Real Gun Enthusiast

If any of you like supernatural fantasy or horror in modern settings, but hate when books and movies obviously know nothing about guns and gun handling, this is the book for you. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005OSJBVW It's only $2.99 and can be read on any device with a Kindle app (PC, smartphone, iPad, etc).

P.S. Sorry if this sounds way too much like spam, but I'm proud of my work and this forum proved to be a great resource in both writing the book and fostering my love of firearms, so I thought I'd share.

Your book sounds very interesting, but I have a NOOK and I can't find the book on BN website. Can you get your publisher to put it on NOOK? Thanks

I like the genre but don't have a Kindle device. I do appreciate some realism regarding firearms. I just started a sci-fi/horror/fantasy novel where the main character is carrying a Kahr PM9. Hopefully, she'll know how to use it without flipping off the non-existent safety.

OOPS! Looks like Kahr makes a version of the PM9 with an external safety! Bad example

How bout Sci Fiction military action on Amazon

In the same vein (vampire humor...) my sci fi military detective noir novel
"ReCon of Worlds" is available on Kindle for 9.50. A grand detective - military merc - sc fi story with guns galore and shootumups in underground Seattle.
Check it out gang.

Seem like there are a lot of gun/authors doing novels for that site and it lets new authors get read where as the old publishers are a dying breed.

You can download a free kindle app to your computer from Amazon. That's what I did and bought the OP's book, plus a few others, they download right to your library in the kindle software, it's pretty slick. Plus, the download comes with Aesop's Fables, Pride & Prejudice, and Treasure Island for free.

WC145, thank you very much for buying my book. I hope you liked it.

I am looking into making it available for Nook, but I'm doing it all on my own (no agent, no publisher). But Kindle does have apps for PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, and even BlackBerry. Plus, they just released the new version of the Kindle that's only $79.

For anyone who does buy my book, please take the time to leave a review on Amazon's site. And thank you.

I am a big fan of the Dresden Files and I am always looking for something new. I just bought your book and I will post a review on Amazon after I have read it.

I'm a huge Dresden fan myself. I'm currently reading a very large book and it's killing me because the new Dresden book is next on the list.

Thanks, Jeff. I'm currently working on another series (which involves an elf working for a private HRT/tactical security firm), but I hope to publish that through traditional channels, since that's where the money is.

Monster Hunters International by Larry Correia

http://www.amazon.com/Monster-Hunter...9675960&sr=8-1

In the first chapter their is a positive CCW permit depiction, and specific mention of Federal 125 Gr JHPs in a snub .357.

By chapter three we have discussed Corbon Powerball ammo, three gun competition, Les Baer 1911s and Remington 870s.

By the way, its all about hunting monsters!

The author is also a gun dealer and firearms instructor!
