I have been using the original batteries for about nine months and I am into it several times a day. I noticed when assembling mine that the wiring was very susceptible to being “pinched” when installing the battery tray. Have you checked to make sure the wiring is not damaged in any way?

You may have faulty electronic part causing a excessive drain on the batteries. I'd contact the manufacter.

I change mine when the time changes twice each year with smoke detectors, probably overkill, but it has become a habbit.

What guns? I don't have any guns.
That's one reason I don't like electronic locks. Battery drain. I prefer mechanical locks, but that's simply my personal preference. Better than locks, is disinformation. There are no guns in this house. |
