Kentucky v. King - What?!

Somewhat older, but I just came across this yesterday.

Kentucky v. King

The smell of a burning flower and the sound of "scurrying" is enough for police to cave in your front door - SWAT style if they like - referring to exigent circumstances.

I'm not focusing on the aforementioned "probable cause," but rather Justice Ginsburg's dissenting opinion on the matter - what precedent is this setting?
