I like the SIG P226 but man do people ever get the M9 trials totally wrong.

For the SIGs to even remain in the competition and to prevent Beretta from becoming the sole technically acceptable bidder, the entire "dried mud" testing portion of the trials had to be dropped from consideration because the SIGs couldn't pass it.

Interestingly, the clapped out 40+ year old 1911A1 control pistols were the only ones to score 100% reliability in both wet and dried mud testing.

Just read up on pistol training where mr vickers put hk45 thru 50000 rounds. Amazing reliability
