Quote Question
I posted a scan of a few paragraphs from a P. O. Ackley book that's around fifty years old and out of print.
See post #11 of thread http://thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=459040. Is this a policy violation? If so, please delete. Last edited by Mal H; August 23, 2011 at 10:36 AM. Reason: Added link to thread |

It's ok since the book was copyrighted before 1978 (a magical date in the copyright world), the copyright expired 28 years after the publishing date.
I have the same book and it is "Copyright 1962". It doesn't have the usual wording indicating that the copyright was renewed (it can be renewed for 67 years). |
