is a Beretta A390ST, 12ga with 28 barrel lead shot only?
Looks like I'm closing the deal on a never been shot before A390ST. I should have it in my hands by Monday.
It only comes with one choke, which I have not seen. Would this gun, likely made in the 90s, be lead shot only, or is that also a function of the choke which presumably I could find to handle all types of shot. Thanks in advance. |

No it can handle lead or steel shot ...or one of the other non-toxic options ...its a matter of having the right choke in the gun.
In general a Modified choke for Lead / will be a Full choke with steel - because steel doesn't compress like lead ...so you have to shoot a more open choke. |

BigJimP is right on. Congratulations on getting what I consider to be probably the best auto loading shotgun ever made.
