1890 LC Smith Double value?

Quote:
1890 LC Smith double barrel shot gun for sale. Serial # H30256 (numbers matching), in excellent original condition, and it's been in my family since 1890. Made by Hunter Arms of N.York. Want to sell to someone who can appreciate it's value and history. No low ballers, serious offers only. Call J. at XXX-XXX-XXXX or email to notreal@.com
So what sort of offers would I expect this ad to generate?
BTW, if someone just has to get after this, PM me as I am just curious... not shoppin'...

Prolly around 1500 for an excellent 00 grade. That's the bare bones field grade.

Clifford, I do not know... I can ask the guy if it says so.

This is just an ad I seen on a local forum and was curious as I see this name used in high regards for the most part.
