Growing up I shot more than enough shotguns so they don't interest me for plinking anymore. 22 rifles are pretty fun still. Pistols are fun too

Rifles. Primarily centerfire bolt actions (and I'm selling the ONLY semi-auto rifle I now own).
Second would be handguns.
Third: Shotguns.
Fourth: Airguns / Muzzle loaders

Anything else is a rare enough occurrence, as to be considered insignificant, and not worth mentioning.

BP or bolt rifles. Reloading for and shooting them has been quite interesting for the last several years. OTOH I've glanced longingly at my .22 in recent weeks. It won't be long.

What I shoot most would be either a S&W 642,442 or Para Ord. Carry Companion .45. These are my CC pistols(not all at the same time) so whatever I'm shooting, I'll always end the shooting session with one of these.

Handguns, I'll put 500rds through various models each week.
Rifles and shotguns are lucky to get a couple hundred a month.

Presently, my Taurus 740 Slim!

I'm trying to get it to break, malfunction, or something to prove what my mind believes; which is that it is a piece of junk. I've put over 400 rounds through it and it has not sneezed. The construction of it looks so iffy, but its performed flawlessly, with cheapy and quality defense ammo. I may have to eat some raw crow. Its gotten so expensive shooting so much .40 ammo that i'll probably back off and call it a day.

Other than that, its a toss-up between my Kimber 1911 and Walther PPS 9.

I wish the 740 would just go ahead and break so I can move on with my life...

I have three that I shoot at least once a week. I have a Ruger P95 (my carry weapon), an old .38 Smith&Wesson revolver and a Mosin Nagant rifle.

Now, if the question is "what eats the most ammo?" the answer would be my Ruger. Rifle sessions average about 60 rounds per and I may put 50 rounds through the .38 but at least 150 rounds go through the 9mm every time I go to the range.

My .22 handguns mostly,,,

Unless I'm in a slow fire mood,,,
Then I crank out the single-shot .22 rifles.

I place an 8" steel gong at 200 yards,,,
Rifles are sighted in at 75 yards,,,
Quite the challenge for me.

I always take my trusty S&W Model 18,,,
I always take my CZ-75B Kadet,,,
After that it's anyones guess,,,
I try to rotate my guns.

Lately I've been shooting my Bersa Thunder 22 quite a bit,,,
I am sure the pistol is inherently accurate,,,
I hit surprisingly well with it.

Last but not least I always run a few mags through my carry gun de jour,,,
Lately that has been my little Taurus PLY in .22 LR,,,
Don't laugh too hard at my little mouse-gun,,,
The darn thing goes bang every time,,,
And I'm surprisingly good with it.

The two guns I rarely take out are,,,
My Ruger 22/45 and my Beretta U-22 NEOS,,,
After shooting my CZ-75B Kadet and my Beretta Model 87,,,
Those other two guns seem more like toys than real live handguns.

That should get the Ruger fanboys all fired up,,,

Handguns are my primary interest. .22 gets the most rounds through it because of ammo cost.

My Glock 23 since it's my CCW. After that, my .22 Browning pistol just to keep costs down.
