Leupold VX-3 vs. VX-R...Glass differences?
I can see the differences in terms of available magnification and illuminated reticles of the VX-R, and I see the VX-r appears to have a 30 mm tube, but what about the quality of the glass. I have read that the VX-3 is actually better glass and the VX-r is more like the VX-2 line of scopes in terms of glass.
What say you?
